Boy Scout popcorn sales began Sept. 20 and will last through Oct. 25. You can sell on your own to family, friends and neighbors, or you can sell through our exclusive arrangement with Lowe's Home Improvement.

Selling at Lowes: Slots are filling fast! Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday night, we can set up from 6:00 through 9:00pm from Sept. 22 through Oct. 24. Each shift needs 4 Scouts and 2 adults total to cover both the store's entrance and exit. Selling on Your Own: You can sell directly to your family, friends and neighbors starting next Saturday through Oct. 25. Sales sheets will be handed out at this week's Tuesday meeting, and if you want, you can use this flyer filed away on the website at http://www.troop364.org/system/files/PopcornFlyer2014.pptx.  Customize it with your parent's contact information and post it where you have permission at your church or school. Check with Mr. Ralph Sanders about getting popcorn in advance for selling door-to-door (afterward you hand in the money you collected), or use the sales sheets to sell door-to-door and collect money (then deliver popcorn afterwad).

** NOTE: You can earn the Boy Scout Salesmanship Merit Badge by using your popcorn sales as part of you effort. #justsayin'

Save the date: Sat. Nov. 22 is the Fall Church Cleanup

Posted on Sep 20 2014 - 10:54am

Scouts are being asked to participate in the semi-annual Church Cleanup. It is one of the ways our Troop shows its support of the PGUMC community and gratitude for sponsoring our Boy Scout Troop. The date was chosen so it came after Veteran's Day and before Thanksgiving. It's also the likeliest time to have all the leaves off the trees.
