Fellow Scouts and Leaders, I will complete my Eagle Scout Project this September. I will be tearing down and rebuilding a walking bridge at Lake Crabtree County Park. This is an exciting event in my journey to Eagle Scout. I would like as many Scouts, Leaders, Family, and Friends as possible to attend to support me on this journey.
I wanted to update everyone and let you know that we will be moving the scheduled work date of 8/31 for my project - bridge build to the afternoon (12pm-4pm) of September 7, 2024. I realize next weekend was a tough weekend with the holiday and troop campout. However, I will still have a workday that day at my house to paint the bridge boards that have already been power-washed. This week, Troop 364 will have a cookout to celebrate the service of our Assistant Scoutmaster, Bob Bettinghaus. Bob retires on July 1. Scouts and scout families are welcome to join us at the cookout; please sign up so we will know how much food to prepare.
