Boy Scout popcorn sales continue through Oct. 25. Here's your kernel of wisdom: prize qualifications add up in your kettle if you sell on your own, or sell as a troop at Lowe's Home Improvement.
Selling at Lowes:Slots are still open! Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday night, we are set up from 6:00 through 9:00pm through Oct. 24. Each shift needs 4 Scouts and 2 adults total to cover both the store's entrance and exit. Butter your way into the remaining slots at this Signup Genius link: www.SignUpGenius.com/go/4090C45AFAE2AA57-popcorn/@z@z Check with Mr.Ron Lowery with questions about Lowe's sales.
Selling on Your Own: You can sell directly to your family, friends and neighbors through Oct. 25. Sales sheets will be available at our Tuesday meetings, and if you want, you can use this flyer filed away on the website at http://www.troop364.org/system/files/PopcornFlyer2014.pptx. Customize it with your parent's contact information and post it where you have permission at your church or school. Check with Mr. Ralph Sanders about getting popcorn in advance for selling door-to-door (afterward you hand in the money you collected), or use the sales sheets to sell door-to-door and collect money (then deliver popcorn afterward).
** NOTE: There's nothing cheesy about earning the Boy Scout Salesmanship Merit Badge by using your popcorn sales as part of your effort. #justsayin' ** Groan-inducing popcorn puns are courtesy of your webmaster. Complaints will be answered by getting jalapeno' business...
