We are saddened to share the news that Mr. Burke’s Mother, Mrs. Norma Burke, has passed away. She was at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, NY and was surrounded by her loving family. It’s often customary and appropriate to send flowers to convey our condolences, but Mr. Burke has indicated that the Veterans Cemetery where she will be interred limits flower arrangements to just three, and that they already have more than that. If you are inclined to send flowers, there are two alternatives to make donations in Norma’s memory: - St. Anthony’s Church Restoration Fund, 331 Seward Place, Schenectady 12305, or - The American Diabetes Association
You may also leave a message of condolence for the Burke Family at www.ferrarifuneralhome.com, or send a card to the Burke’s home address listed in the roster. The published obituary describes the life of the extraordinary woman who raised a Scout leader we all know and love:
