Right now, we're still missing a counselor for Emergency Preparedness an Evironmental Science. Please email Kristen Brannock at kkbrannock@att.net if you are intereted in being one of those counselors, or for any other badge. Remember: For many of these badges, your college degree, work experience, experience with Scouting or simply being a parent qualifies you. Thank you!
Please bring your completed popcorn sheet, AND any money to the next meeting (10/28) if you sold popcorn. This will be the last opportunity to turn in your money.

This is a service hours opportunity for fellow Scouts to build a retaining wall at the skate park within Marsh Creek Park, a Raleigh city park. For this project, Scouts are being asked to bring wheel barrows, a lot of shovels, dirt rakes, pickaxes, and work gloves. Lunch and beveages will be provided. The current skate park area has dirt and stones eroding onto the pavement when it rains, and this project is intended to fix that problem. - Signup on this calendar item, or RSVP directly with Mark via phone/text at (919) 710-1151 or email at mrksommers64@gmail.com and copy kevin.sommers@cardno.com. - Location is 3016 N New Hope Rd in Raleigh (E of Capital just north of I 440) Google maps: https://goo.gl/maps/wQA6T
This local campout is our primary annual recruitment effort - we invite area Webelos to check out our Troop and consider bridging over.
3 steps you can take now: 1. Send the Webelos Invitational Flyer to your former Pack Cubmaster and ask them to announce our event. 2. Send an email to the 5th grade teachers at your son's current/past school and ask them to share it with boys who might be interested in Scouting. 3. Print the flyer and hand it to prospective Scouts by downloading it from Files/Campout Files/Webelos Invitational Flyer.
* Parent support is especially needed on Saturday, Nov. 15 all day or in shifts when you are available. * All adults are being asked to come for some portion of the day to host the parents of visiting Scouts, bring food and help serve it to our guests. * The main focus for food at this time is on ensuring we can cover our Thanksgiving Dinner. * Please sign up for the time you can arrive on Saturday. Use the comment field to list the food you are bringing and the time you can stay until (if later than the time slot chosen).
Your role in hosting the parents of visiting Webelos is as important as the food you bring. This is their opportunity to hear about Troop 364 and the experience you and your son are having as part of our wonderful Troop. This campout takes place at BW Wells Campsites 8 & 9 at Falls Lake. The address is 1700 Bent Road, Wake Forest, NC 27587 / Google Maps Link: http://goo.gl/maps/fGg5q
NOTE: These requirements may change depending upon how many guests we have.
The LDS church is offering their annual merit badge clinic. At this event you can get over 50 different merit badges (each scout is only allowed to sign up for 6). Many of which are Eagle required! This is a great opportunity to get some of those required badges out of the way! It only comes around once a year, so jump on this if you are able.
The last day to register is October 31st!
