If anyone is searching for ideas for an Eagle project, we've received a request from the Kerr Family YMCA to help improve their summer camp.
They have an Archery Range at their camp, and would like for someone to build a platform for the campers to step on before releasing their arrows. They are also looking to expand this range into a shooting range. The YMCA would supply everything needed, and are just looking for someone to build it.
December 2nd is also the next Patrol Leadership meeting at 6:30, with the regular Scout meeting at 7:00 and the monthly parents’ Committee Meeting right after announcements.
We currently have 2 Scouts and 1 adult signed up for this event. A strong showing is needed on Saturday, November 22 for the annual Fall Church Cleanup sincethis is our semiannual service project for PGUMC, our Troop's sponsoring organization. As of this morning, there are 2 Scouts (out of 16 needed) and 1 adult (out of 4 needed) that are registered. Leaf raking, light planting and other specific projects will be done during the Cleanup. ** For the first time, this service project will be merged with the Church's GreatMinds community outreach program, taking the place of previous years' annual GreatMinds Dinner. Parents are needed during the day on Saturday, Nov. 15 at the Webelos invitational. We need to host the parents of visiting webelos, and to bring and serve food at the Thanksgiving Dinner on Saturday evening.
