Please join us in congratulating Troop 364’s award-winners at the Impeesa District Awards Dinner:

  • District Award of Merit, Alicia Embrey

Sign up by this Tuesday for Winter Camp Jan 16 - 19

Posted on Dec 6 2014 - 11:28pm

Winter Camp is one of the big opportunities to earn merit badges. Focus on the big, Eagle-required badges or choose badges just for fun. It's taking place on January 16 - 19 at Camp Boddie down on the banks of the Pamlico River.
The goal is to for you to submit all your merit badge choices, the signed permission slip and the fee by this next Scout meeting (we've accelerated the date to improve our chances of getting the badges we choose).
  * Use the dollar amount on the permission slip (not the merit badge choice form) and make checks payable to Troop 364 please.
  * Merit badge options and the permission slip to use are filed here:  http://www.troop364.org/taxonomy/term/1130.

Questions? Check with Marc Haakenson.

New Service Hours Opportunity

Posted on Nov 29 2014 - 11:43pm

We have an opportunity to help out at Everett Tree Service, who supply wood for Warmth for Wake, a program which brings firewood to the needy during the winter months.  Volunteers will split wood (using splitters) and load it onto trucks.  Help is also needed with delivery if any adults with pickup trucks are able to help.
** Potential dates for this opportunity are Dec. 6th or 20th. We may also need an adult volunteer to coordinate this on-site the day of the service.
** Added benefit: the troop will get access to all the firewood we need.
Questions? See Mr. Jeff Howell, who is coordinating this project.
