Mr. Phillips needs a $100 deposit by January 30 from all participants planning to participate in this summer's Summit Experience High Adventure trip in West Virginia. We will be constructing a retaining wall in the Maybrook community for Wake Habitat. The area where the wall will be built is located behind 2704 Patbrook lane, Raleigh 27610. The time will be from 9 to 4 on January 31.
Scouts will need to bring work gloves and a shovel. Dress appropriately for weather as this is a outside project.
The Occoneechee council is having its annual Eagle recognition banquet January 31st at the McKimmon Center. Attendance is free for Eagle recipients. Details and registration information are available here.
**UPDATE** Due to inclement weather, the 12-week test scheduled for this evening has been canceled. As soon as it is rescheduled, an email notice will be sent. But the classroom make-up session will still take place during the regular troop meeting Tuesday the 13th.
Tuesday night Blake Phillips will meet with anyone who was not able to make the initial classroom session. If you can't make the final testing Monday night, we will have a make-up session. Mr. Phillips will schedule it once he knows how many will need the make-up.
