June 3: Life to Eagle Seminar

Posted on May 31 2015 - 12:03am

Impeesa District, in conjunction with Troops 28, 104 and 364, is sponsoring a Trail to Eagle Seminar on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 from 7:00 - 8:30 pm at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church located at 7000 Creedmoor Road in north Raleigh. If your troop has not had a Life to Eagle seminar within the last year, please contact John Murrell or Ed Miller and sign up your scouts to participate in this one. Every scout deserves the right training -- help us help you and your scouts experience all that the Trail to Eagle has to offer.

Please register: June 6 Planning Meeting

Posted on May 31 2015 - 12:02am

Scouts will plan campouts and how they will conduct meetings for the next 12-18 months. Adults will plan the support initiatives to enable the Scouts to have the kind of Troop they want.
** Your input determines the kind of experiences our Scouts have.
** We'll begin at 9:00am with coffee and bagels at PGUMC.  All are welcome to attend - registering helps us know how much food to order.

Volunteers Needed for Open Adult Positions

Posted on Apr 25 2015 - 10:39pm

Adult volunteers are still needed for the Quartermaster position and Life-to-Eagle Advisor.

Unfilled adult positions affect the Scouting experience, and multiple unfulfilled positions undermine the viability of this Troop.  The good news with the Quartermaster position is that a comprehensive inventory has been completed and going forward, the role will be to guide the Scout Quartermasters on maintenance and management of essential gear and equipment.
