Noah Spivey has inspired countless others with his bravery, reverence and how he showed all the 12 virtues of the Boy Scout Law. Help ensure his lasting impact by sharing the news of the Occonneechee Council's Noah D. Spivey Fund. This Fund has been established to help other boys enjoy Scouting activities and programs their own resources might not otherwise allow. Donald and Tristan’s Eagle Scout ceremony will be part of the COH ceremony on Tuesday (April 22) at PGUMC.
Their families plan to bring a cake and ice cream as part of the celebration.
In addition to achieving the rank of Eagle, Donald will be recognized with the Bronze Eagle Palm award. Eagle Palm Awards are earned by Scouts that meet the following criteria:
Be active in your troop and patrol for at least three months after becoming an Eagle Scout or after award of last Palm. (Eagle Palms must be earned in sequence, and the three-month tenure requirement must be observed for each Palm.)
Demonstrate Scout spirit by living the Scout Oath (Promise) and Scout Law in your everyday life.
Make a satisfactory effort to develop and demonstrate leadership ability.
Earn five additional merit badges beyond those required for Eagle or last Palm. (Merit badges earned any time since becoming a Boy Scout may be used to meet this requirement.)
