Welcome back from our summer break! Please be prepared for our first meetings of the fall term: 6:30 - 7:00 Patrol Leadership Committee - all are welcome, mandatory for Patrol Leaders, Scouts in assigned positions of responsibility, ASPLs and the SPL. 7:00 - 8:30 Troop meeting with BORs and Scoutmaster Conferences. Adults will be needed to staff the BORs.
With our High Adventure Crew back from the Bahamas, We're officially on "summer break." There's nothing scheduled this week for our Troop. Looking ahead, here are upcoming events to keep in mind:
SCOUTS: * Aug 9 Scoutmaster Conferences as needed (not a "regular" Troop meeting). * Aug 16 First Troop meeting of the fall term. Also: Scoutmaster Conferences and BORs for advancement before Aug 27 COH. * Aug 23 Troop meeting * Aug 26-28 Campout & COH at Rollingview / Falls Lake.
We meet July 5 for Summer Camp Wrap-up. The focus is on recording rank advancements and merit badge blue card (completes and partials). We will also address any needs in the Trailer and the Shed.
It seems like Summer Camp 2016 at Camp Durant went in a flash! We've set up a photo album to allow you to upload any pictures (we have 5 so far). It can be found at Troop364.org/photoalbums/2016 06 Summer Camp Durant.
Please note there is no Tuesday Troop meeting this week, and the next time we meet is July 5 for Summer Camp Wrap-up, when the focus will be on recording rank advancements and merit badge blue card (completes and partials). We will also be addressing any needs in the Trailer and the Shed.
After that, we'll have a break until we begin the next term in August. Check the calendar for specific dates in August, which include Scoutmaster Conferences, Boards of Review and a Court of Honor.
We meet tomorrow and head to Camp Durant for a fun filled week of adventure. Get a good night sleep tonight so you will be better prepared for a long day checking in and setting into camp.
