• Return permission slips ASAP - see Flying Squirrels slip and directions attached.
• Note the location change for Spartans: now Shinleaf/Falls Lake (not Jordan Lake).

• Start by getting the event scheduled - more details can be added later.
• Provide as many details as possible: location, dates, times, equipment needed, equipment provided and purpose of the project.

• Multi-troop project to work on the MST on September 28, 2013 - National Public Land Day! We will meet at 9:00 AM and then move to the project sites.
• All interested should RSVP by Wednesday, Sept. 25 directly to jdbrewer104@gmail.com or 919-900-0483.
• Location: All volunteers will meet at the Food Lion parking lot at the intersection of Patterson/Sherron and Highway 98 in Durham. (Google Maps Link:  http://goo.gl/maps/1zM9h )  After we meet we will split up into project groups and "scatter out" to do our trail work.

• Remember to invite any Webelos or former Cub Scouts that you know to the September Campout at Camp Durant.
• This is a district-wide Webelos recruiting event, and recruitment is a key part of a strong ongoing troop.
• Many fun activities are planned.
