I am very happy to announce that I will be having a work weekend on September 5th and 6th to construct two adirondack chairs for Umstead State Park. To observe COVID safe practices, I will be asking volunteers to arrive in shifts. I plan to have 2 groups of 2 volunteers per shift (4 total volunteers per shift). I am encouraging scout sibling pairs and parent/scout pairs to sign up as you will be able to work together with your family member without having to worry about social distancing. It is time to Recharter for 2020. The first step in Rechartering is getting a list of who is coming back (hopefully all of you). Attached are 3 things that need your attention by January 7th.
The Council has updated health forms and each scout and leader will need to have a new form filled out for the upcoming year.
Please remember if you plan on going on a trip longer than 72 hours, like Summer Camp or High Adventure, ALL parts (A, B & C) are required. All others only need Parts A & B. Though more is always better than less.
