We would like to welcome families to the Troop 364 Court of Honor to be held June 8th at 7pm. This will be a traditional Court of Honor followed by an Eagle Ceremony for William Duke and George White. (see attachment)
I will be installing my Eagle Scout project on Sunday May 2nd, 10 AM - 3PM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (1401 Leesville Road, Raleigh NC 27613.) and I need the troop's help. We will meet in the community center parking lot which is immediately on your right after turning into the driveway.
Everyone participating in the troop should be filling out and returning a new health form every year.
I think it would be easiest if we have a deadline, so starting this year, health forms will be due by June 1st. I will take the health forms at any time, but they should all be in by then. The files can be accessed from here.
My Eagle Scout Project is scheduled for Friday October 2nd and Saturday October 3rd. I am building a GaGa pit for the Church of the Apostles. The current times for the project are Friday from 4pm-7pm and Saturday from 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm. The address of the church is 333 Church at N Hills St. Raleigh North Carolina.
To observe COVID 19 safety practices, I will be asking people to sign up for three hour time slots. I plan to have up to five workers for each three hour time slot with all participants being required to wear a mask.
Please plan to wear work gloves. I will provide water and snacks
My Eagle Scout Project has been scheduled for Saturday 19 and Sunday 20. I am building a play kitchen set for a pre-school for St. Francis of Assisi. I will be building it at 7906 Leesville Rd. Raleigh NC. You should park on the side of the road and walk up to the gate. Because of Covid-19 I am only going to be able to have three scouts over at a time so I will be having a morning shift and an afternoon shift on saturday and only a afternoon shift on the two sundays. Depending on how fast we can get it done I may not need you to come in so make sure to leave a phone number or email that I can contact you the day of. If you have family members that is also a scout and can double or triple up, only fill out one signup and write their name in the space provided. Make sure to bring a mask with you. The morning shifts will be fed pizza for lunch and the afternoons will be given a treat that you can take home. The current times are 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm. You are not allowed to take the morning and afternoon shift, only one. Once I have your response I will let you know when I can fit you in for the schedule. Thank you so much.
I am very happy to announce that I will be having a work weekend on September 5th and 6th to construct two adirondack chairs for Umstead State Park. To observe COVID safe practices, I will be asking volunteers to arrive in shifts. I plan to have 2 groups of 2 volunteers per shift (4 total volunteers per shift). I am encouraging scout sibling pairs and parent/scout pairs to sign up as you will be able to work together with your family member without having to worry about social distancing.
